OXO (Tic-Tac-Toe) - TTL/Diode Version  (03-March-2020)

Picture
The collection of notes will detail my journey to building an OXO (Tic-Tac-Toe or Noughts and Crosses) game using standard TTL IC's and diodes.

The reason for this is long and complex and can be found in my original blog post.

Like many of my projects, it's a work in progress and there is always a chance that I may not either finish it, or will encounter an issue that prevents me moving forward, so this isn't a construction project.

Acorn System 1 - Replica (30-May-2020)

Picture
For the eagle-eyed among you, it may have come to your attention that this is rather similar to my SCC project. Well yes, and no.

I'm attempting to replicate the original Acorn System 1 keyboard and display card and the CPU card so that they are functionally compatible. Some of the original parts are either no longer available, or very expensive if you do find them. The version I'm working on will be functionality compatible so will be able to run the same software, but will have some alterations, tweaks and improvements.

If you want to see a list of all the design documentation available, check out this page here.

SCC - Small Custom Computer

A small computer that uses a CPU emulation of a custom CPU I'm designing. It's also created in the image of one of my favourite home computers from the 1970's; the Acorn System 1
